RANGE ROVER VELAR - GLOBAL LAUNCH
DEFINING THE LOOK OF RANGE ROVER FOR THE NEXT 15 YEARS
The Range Rover Velar name comes from the code name used for the prototype of the very first Range Rover back in the 1960's. At the time the Range Rover line was brand new and was a bold new direction for Land Rover. The Velar was going to be the next generation of this. I was lucky enough to get to work on this and ended up creating the global platform and language for this amazing new vehicle. The campaign included TV, print, social videos, cinemagraphs and for the first time for Land Rover a Chat Bot.
IT ALL STARTED WITH TWO WORDS:
MY LANGUAGE WAS SO POPULAR THE CCO USED IT IN THE PRESS RELEASE:
AND THEN IT LEAD TO TWO GLOBAL SPOTS, THE FIRST ONE CALLED "RESPECT"
AND THE SECOND CALLED "NIGHT SOUNDS." BOTH DIRECTED BY THE TALENTED CHRIS PALMER. NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED.
AND IT SET THE TONE FOR THE GLOBAL PRINT HEADLINES
AND OF COURSE A FACEBOOK CANVAS
A SERIES OF MACRO IMAGES OF THE VELAR AS PART OF THE LONDON MUSEUM LAUNCH
CINEMAGRAPHS
